Abstract

Pesticide residues present a notable risk to public health, making it essential to develop swift and dependable analytical techniques for ensuring food safety. Here, three novel high-entropy metal-organic frameworks with peroxidase-mimetic activity were synthesized. Leveraging their differential catalytic responses to various pesticides, a three-channel sensor was constructed for discrimination of five organophosphorus pesticides (glyphosate, chlorpyrifos, trichlorfon, diazinon, dichlorvos), achieving a detection limit of 0.50 μg mL-1. The sensor operates effectively across a broad concentration range (0.50-50 μg mL-1) and successfully identifies complex mixtures, including structural analogs like glyphosate and chlorpyrifos. With excellent interference resistance and practical applicability in real samples, this strategy offers a simple and effective method for multi-pesticide identification, showing great promise for advancing food safety monitoring.
