Non-Thermal Plasma-Assisted Degradation of Organic Pollutants in Wastewater and Its Reuse for Enhanced Seed Germination and Plant Growth

2026 · New Journal of Chemistry · 0 citations

Abstract

Seed germination and early plant growth are highly sensitive to seed surface properties and water quality, especially under pharmaceutical pollutant stress such as sulfamethoxazole (SMX). In this work, the effects...

Role of biocompatible metal–organic frameworks as a source of iron for plant growth under iron-deficient conditions

Biodegradable MIL-100(Fe) nanoparticles act as controlled iron reservoirs: in Fe-deficient Arabidopsis they promote longer roots, restore chlorophyll absorption peaks and show fluorescence in roots/xylem, supporting iron release and uptake by plants.
