2026 · ITM Web of Conferences · 0 citations · 4 references

Abstract

Soft robots have attracted extensive attention due to their good flexibility and adaptability to the environment, and the design idea of bionics is an important development direction of soft robots. This paper summarizes the application of bionic design in soft robots, including research background, theoretical basis, technical progress and application. Through the study of different biological movements and body structures, people have developed a series of soft robots that can crawl, swim, grab and perform other operations. The realization of a bionic soft robot needs the support of intelligent materials, driving technology, sensor control and other technologies. Different driving methods, such as pneumatic drive, dielectric elastomer drive, and shape memory material drive, provide power for the soft robot. The current research has made some achievements in multimodal motion, integration of perceptual control and variable stiffness design, but there are also shortcomings. Future research should focus on multi-function integration, intelligent material development, control theory improvement and modular design, and play a greater role in medical health, industrial production, disaster relief, environmental detection and other aspects.
