Abstract
The increasing integration of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) into joint operations with manned aircraft introduces new challenges related to coordination, control, and decision-making under adversarial conditions. This paper proposes a system-level modeling approach for coordinated air operations Manned-Unmanned Teaming (MUT) based on conflict-oriented analysis. The model formalizes reconnaissance, strike, suppression of enemy air defense (SEAD) missions, and air-to-air engagements by describing the functional roles of airborne systems and their mutual influence on the mission outcomes. The modeling framework enables a comparative assessment of interaction patterns and identifies critical system components that significantly affect coordinated performance.
Controlling multiple autonomous, uncrewed aircraft, or autonomous collaborative platforms (ACPs), during flight missions is a difficult multitasking effort. Due to the complexities and risks related to aircraft operations, it is imperative that the designs of emerging ACP management controls yield as few errors as poss...

Background. The rapid evolution of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) from remote surveillance tools to complex autonomous cyber-physical systems necessitates systematization of their application and control architecture. The purpose of this work is to provide a comprehensive overview of the tasks solved by autonomous UAV...

The integration of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) into shared airspace requires on-board safety mechanisms for self-separation without cooperation between platforms or centralised air-traffic services. This paper proposes the UAV Safety Bubble (USB), which is a six-layer geometric model that defines an adaptive safety...

The authors attempt to analyze the nature of civil unmanned aircraft systems (UAS)
and unmanned aerial systems (UAS) for their classification as objects of civil law. This paper
examines controversial aspects of the classification of UAS and UAS as independent objects
of civil law. It is concluded that these objects sh...

Air-defense UAV swarm operations represent a key direction in the development of future aerial warfare, characterized by numerous operational nodes, complex interactions, and highly coupled mission processes. To address the lack of a unified architectural description method in existing studies, this paper introduces th...
This study examines cognitive architectures that enable Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) to autonomously sustain continuous control tasks such as target search, detection, acquisition, and tracking under asymmetric Electronic Warfare (EW) threats. The inadequacy of traditional rule-based algorithms against dynamic jammi...
