Abstract
This article provides resourses for the study of hate speeches from a post-foundational and lacanian approach. It includes both the language and the social and institutional practices of hate. It conceptualises these far-right discourses as a variant of the Master Discourse in current capitalism based on the essentialization, stigmatization and discrimination of otherness. It argues that hate discourses promotes a transgressor and cruel enjoyment that incites a permanent tanatic impulse and builds negative identifications based primarily on profound contempt against the alterity. The subjects would obtain a surplus jouissance (alienated) from the constant humiliation and cruelty exclusion of otherness, imaginatively recovering the jouissance stolen by theotherness. Believing they are following their own desire, they are, in fact, slaves to the Master´s Discourse and its phantasmatic injuctions. This allows us to analyze the actual relevance of intense sad passions centered on hatred, disgust, anger, indignation and social resentment in working class. The second part displays some analytical strategies to investigate this phenomenon and illustrates with the example of Milei in Argentina.
