Abstract

The subject of this study is the impact of the digital transformation of accounting and analytical support on maintaining the economic security of business entities. The study analyzes the evolution of classical approaches to accounting and financial monitoring amidst the development of modern information technologies. It also identifies the implications of using digital tools in control procedures. The primary focus is on the use of automated accounting platforms, cloud services, artificial intelligence algorithms, and distributed ledgers (blockchain) to detect and neutralize economic risks of various kinds. These tools enable the detection of violations and risk management at a qualitatively new level, strengthen internal control, and minimize the financial consequences of adverse processes. Such tools include: ERP systems enable real-time monitoring of business operations; Machine learning algorithms analyze datasets and identify anomalies in business activities; RFID technologies and IoT sensors can be used to track the movement of assets. The active integration of these technologies into a business entity's operations significantly transforms the traditional accounting process. An integrated risk management center is being established that, drawing on financial statement data and real-time monitoring, is capable of preventing fraud and forecasting threats to economic security. The research findings can be utilized by company management when formulating strategies for the digital transformation of accounting processes and the enhancement of risk management systems.
