It is concluded that integrating SA and SNA provides a comprehensive framework for diagnosing institutional dynamics, enhancing stakeholder collaboration, and promoting sustainable, equitable governance models in health-related initiatives.
Abstract
This study explores how Stakeholder Analysis (SA) and Social Network Analysis (SNA) can be integrated to strengthen governance within complex health development projects. Using a mixed-method design, the research identified key stakeholders, assessed their power, interest, and commitment, and mapped both collaborative and conflictual relationships. The findings revealed that core actors such as medical institutions, project management teams, and local authorities play central roles in governance and coordination. Meanwhile, peripheral actors, including NGOs, supporting agencies, and community groups, demonstrated lower levels of engagement, highlighting potential gaps in inclusivity and sustainability. Network visualizations illustrated both strong collaborations and unresolved tensions, particularly in procurement processes and service accessibility. The study concludes that integrating SA and SNA provides a comprehensive framework for diagnosing institutional dynamics, enhancing stakeholder collaboration, and promoting sustainable, equitable governance models in health-related initiatives. These findings offer strategic insights for policy formulation and institutional planning, especially in resource-constrained and multisectoral environments.
