Abstract

The rapid digital transformation of higher education, the active implementation of artificial intelligence technologies, and the strengthening of cooperation between higher education institutions and employers have intensified the need to develop new models of professional training for future Master's students in Software Engineering. The purpose of the study is to provide a theoretical substantiation of the innovative educational ecosystem as an integral space for the professional development of future Master's students in Software Engineering, to reveal its conceptual foundations, and to identify its structural components and principles of functioning in the context of the digital transformation of education. To achieve this purpose, a set of interrelated research methods was employed, including analysis, synthesis, generalization, and systematization of Ukrainian and international scholarly sources; comparative analysis of contemporary approaches to the digital transformation of education, the development of educational ecosystems, and the professional training of future specialists; structural-functional analysis to substantiate the component structure of the innovative educational ecosystem; and theoretical modelling to determine its conceptual foundations. Results. The essence of the concept of "the professional development of future Master's students in Software Engineering" has been clarified, and the author's interpretation of the innovative educational ecosystem has been substantiated as an open, adaptive, and multi-level system integrating educational, research, digital, innovative, and professional-practical activities. Five interrelated structural components of the innovative educational ecosystem have been identified: subject-partnership, educational-research, digital-technological, innovation-project, and organizational-outcome components. The principles of its functioning have been characterized, including openness and partnership, digital integration, practice orientation and innovation, adaptability and continuous development, and human-centeredness. It has been demonstrated that the integrated interaction of these components creates favourable conditions for the development of professional, digital, research, and innovation competencies, as well as for preparing future Master's students to use artificial intelligence technologies, work collaboratively in teams, implement project-based activities, and maintain professional mobility within the digital economy. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the theoretical substantiation of the innovative educational ecosystem as a holistic space for the professional development of future Master's students in Software Engineering, the clarification of its essential characteristics, the identification of its structural components and principles of functioning, and the explanation of their interrelationships in the context of the digital transformation of education. The practical significance of the obtained results lies in the possibility of applying the proposed theoretical provisions to the modernization of educational and professional programmes, the development of digital educational environments, the enhancement of partnership interaction between higher education institutions and stakeholders, and the design of innovative models for the professional training of future Master's students in Software Engineering.
