Abstract
Reference implementation of RAVEN, a finite-symbol (K = 4, 2 bits per message) communication method for cooperative multi-agent reinforcement learning. A sender's symbol is chosen so that, in the receiver's own decision context, the receiver's centred action-value profile matches the one it would have with full information. The release contains the offline implementation (centralised teacher, sensitivity-weighted receiver conditions, exact codebook search, distilled sender and receivers) and the online implementation (GRU agents with QMIX, hard-symbol codec, top-2 sparse receiver, conditional value alignment loss), together with task adapters for ring and broadcast navigation, MPE2 and SMAC. Training data, experiment records and trained weights are not included. Licensed under the RAVEN Academic Non-Commercial License 1.0 (see the LICENSE file); not an open-source license.
The results indicate that software engineering work practices are chosen opportunistically, adapted and configured to provide value under the constrains imposed by the startup context.

It is found that roles of MVPs in startups were not fully aware by entrepreneurs, and entrepreneurs should consider a systematic approach to fully explore the value of MVP, as a multiple facet product (MFP).

It is found that what perceived as biggest challenges by software startups do vary across different life cycle stages, even though its significance decreases when the learning focuses of the startups move from problem to solution and their products mature.
