Abstract

The work presents two versions of a fiber-optic temperature sensor based on a cascade Fabry-Perot interferometer with enhanced sensitivity due to the optical Vernier effect. The version without an intermediate glass layer offers greater sensitivity gains but is more complex to manufacture compared to the version with an intermediate glass layer. The proposed sensors have significant potential for application in various fields, including aerospace industry.
