Abstract

In the assembly of core small components for air conditioning compressors, manual assembly suffers from issues such as insufficient precision and low efficiency, making it difficult to meet the demands of large-scale production. The collaborative assembly model using industrial robots effectively addresses these challenges, making it the preferred choice for automated production lines of home appliance components. Based on the “Made in China 2025” strategy, this design optimizes the assembly process for core small components of air conditioning compressors, with a focus on ensuring assembly precision and collaborative reliability. Three-dimensional modeling was completed using SolidWorks. Two ABB IRB2600 robots were employed for collaborative operation, with simulation and debugging conducted via RobotStudio. Precise assembly was achieved through the use of specialized actuators and RAPID offline programming. This design enhances the level of assembly automation, demonstrates the application potential of smart manufacturing, and provides a reference for similar home appliance component assembly lines, holding significant academic value and practical prospects.
