Quantum conditional mutual information (QCMI) is a fundamental measure of conditional independence, with central applications throughout quantum information theory and many-body physics. Despite its importance, finding a fully quantum R\'enyi generalization that satisfies all desirable structural properties has remained an open question. In this work, we introduce a quantum R\'enyi conditional mutual information possessing these desirable properties: it is monotone under local quantum channels, additive under tensor products, monotone in the R\'enyi parameter, and converges to the QCMI in the limit $\alpha \to 1$. We establish bounds on this quantity in terms of relative entropies to the Petz-recovered state, showing that it provides a distinct measure of approximate conditional independence. As a consequence, we derive recovery-based upper and lower bounds on the QCMI in terms of quantum generalizations of the Kullback-Leibler divergence, improving upon the best known results in certain regimes. Finally, we establish bounds in terms of relative entropies to the sets of Markov and separable states and derive R\'enyi chain rules, which appear to be novel even in the classical setting.
Local quantum interactions generate dynamics in an exponentially large Hilbert space, yet locality and entanglement restrict the information that can spread and accumulate. Bounds on propagation and entanglement growth, together with tensor networks, exploit these restrictions to discard information unnecessary for des...

We study the three-parameter family of quantum conditional R\'enyi entropies $H_{\alpha,z}^\lambda$ introduced in \textit{Commun. Math. Phys.} 407, 180 (2026). We prove that the previously established data-processing region is sharp. We then characterize the club-sandwiched family through a classical coarse-graining pr...

We investigate Strong Data-Processing Inequality (SDPI) constants for R\'enyi Divergences on finite spaces. We study their dependence on the R\'enyi order $\alpha$, proving that they are non-decreasing and that their scaling by $(\alpha-1)$ is convex for $\alpha\geq1$. We also identify several support restrictions on t...

We study unbiased estimation of scalar-valued polynomial functionals of quantum states from independent copies. We establish an equivalence between the first-order marginal of a permutation-invariant finite-copy observable and the functional gradient. We then prove that, among unbiased permutation-invariant estimators,...

Entanglement of purification is a fundamental measure of total correlations whose additivity remains unresolved. We study its additivity for classical states on two qubits at different R\'enyi orders. For every $\alpha\in[0,1)$, we prove nonadditivity within this family, witnessed by two copies of a single state. We fi...
The Jarzynski equality provides a strict link between nonequilibrium work and equilibrium free energy changes. Its typical quantum formulations, however, rely on measurement protocols that destroy coherence. In this Letter, we use the resource-theoretic approach to derive a non-destructive quantum Jarzynski equality co...
