Worldview Security as a Factor of Protection under the Influence of Soft Power
Abstract
The article is based on the author’s theoretical and methodological framework applied to the philosophical analysis of the phenomenon of worldview security. This framework relies on the organic theory of national se-curity developed by A.I. Melikhov, within which national security is interpreted not only as a state of protection of state institutions and territorial integrity, but also as the ability of society to self preserve (consolidation in the face of external and internal threats). The object of the study is the national security of the Russian Federation, its role and significance in the context of the use of cognitive warfare – soft power. The subject of the study is worldview security, and the phenomenon of this concept is examined in the context of countering the applica-tion of soft power. The relevance of this research lies in proposing a solution to the issue of adopting preventive measures to neutralize sources of tension arising from the informational impact on society by creating a buffer zone, which is represented by worldview security. The novelty consists in conducting a restorative procedure for the national security system, which is necessary to meet new standards. The work employs methods of social statics and social dynamics, as well as the analysis of social changes and transformations. The dialectical method was actively used, in particular the laws of the transition of quantitative changes into qualitative ones and the unity and struggle of opposites.
