Abstract

Efficient infected wound healing requires both rapid bacterial eradication and precisely regulated immune activation; however, achieving these two objectives within a single therapeutic platform remains challenging. Herein, we report a light‐activated multifunctional P(VDF‐TrFE)/C@MnO x @CdS composite film (P(VDF‐TrFE)/CMS) that integrates photothermal conversion, pyrocatalysis, photocatalysis, and Mn 2+ ‐mediated immunomodulation into a pyro‐phototronic cascade therapeutic system. Under cyclic light irradiation, the photothermal effect of C@MnO x induces transient pyroelectric polarization in P(VDF‐TrFE), generating an internal pyroelectric field that not only triggers pyrocatalytic reactive oxygen species (ROS) production but also promotes photogenerated charge separation in CdS through the pyro‐phototronic effect. More importantly, the enhanced carrier separation accelerates the Mn redox cycle, thereby regulating Mn 2+ release to synergistically activate M1‐like macrophages while sustaining efficient ROS generation for bacterial eradication. Consequently, the P(VDF‐TrFE)/CMS film achieves highly efficient antibacterial activity and accelerates wound closure by approximately 54.5% compared with the PBS control group. This work establishes a pyro‐phototronic cascade strategy that couples catalytic antibacterial therapy with programmable immune regulation, offering a promising approach for the treatment of infected wounds.
