Oct 2026 · Advances in computational intelligence and robotics book series · 58 references

Abstract

The AI-based learning analytics is revolutionizing STEAM learning by facilitating adaptable, information-based, and individualised learning space. The chapter discusses the application of machine learning, natural language processing and predictive analytics to multimodal data on learners to create dynamic learner profiles and inform personalized learning tracks. An artificial intelligence conceptual framework comprising of AI-enabled ecosystems, multimodal data fusion, and adaptive feedback is introduced. Case studies show that there have been calculable improvements in engagement, performance, and collaboration. Other challenges of data privacy, bias and governance are also discussed in the chapter as well as the future directions such as explainable AI, federated learning, and immersive technologies are mentioned to make education more effective.
