The Role of Managerial Consulting in Improving Operational Efficiency and Organizational Quality : An Applied Study on Wassim Hydrotech
Abstract
In the face of accelerating challenges confronting contemporary organizations, managerial consulting has emerged as a pivotal strategic tool to overcome organizational deficiencies and enhance operational efficiency This study aims to analyze the role of managerial consulting in improving institutional performance through an applied case study on Wassim Hydrotech, a company specializing in water treatment, chemicals, and equipment distribution. The research adopted a dual methodology combining theoretical descriptive analysis with field application. Diagnostic tools included SWOT analysis, process mapping, root cause analysis, as well as surveys and interviews with work teams. This comprehensive diagnosis identified key challenges faced by the company, such as overlapping roles, weak interdepartmental coordination, lack of organizational clarity, and repeated project failures. Findings revealed that implementing a comprehensive consulting project contributed to restructuring processes, significantly reducing completion time, improving customer satisfaction, and supporting digital transformation through real-time monitoring systems. Moreover, the study demonstrated that the success of the consulting process depends on critical factors, including top management commitment, employee engagement, and organizational flexibility in adopting recommendations. The study concludes that managerial consulting is not a temporary complementary intervention but rather an integrative process that fosters an organizational culture based on continuous improvement and innovation. Consequently, consulting serves as a strategic tool to strengthen competitiveness and ensure sustainable growth in medium-sized enterprises.
