ORGANIZATIONAL FOUNDATIONS FOR CREATING AN INNOVATION ENVIRONMENT FOR A MODERN ENTERPRISE
Abstract
This article systematizes the organizational foundations for developing an innovation environment for a modern enterprise. Based on an analysis of over 100 scientific publications and data from the Radar portal, a set of principles, structural models, and management mechanisms for ensuring the systematic emergence, implementation, and scaling of innovations is substantiated. The following elements of an innovation environment are considered: corporate culture, organizational structure, HR policy, motivational mechanisms, information technology platforms, and external interactions. The types of organizational models are revealed for innovation environments (centralized R&D departments, decentralized units, project-based (matrix) model, and hybrid model) is proposed and compared, highlighting the advantages and limitations of each model. Key principles for its development were identified: consistency, flexibility, openness of interaction, and a culture of managed risk. The need for integrating innovation management into corporate strategy and budgeting, decentralizing decision-making, forming project teams, and developing external relationships with universities and research organizations was substantiated. Based on the analysis, practical recommendations were formulated: implementing a hybrid organizational model, creating an innovation center in conjunction with project teams, implementing an idea management system and corresponding KPIs, developing a comprehensive incentive policy, and activating external partnerships.
