Abstract

Digitalization is rightfully considered one of the most important strategic priorities of the domestic and economic policy of the Russian Federation: there is a specialized national project «Digital Economy», as well as an extensive system of state programs and initiatives on this topic. Of particular relevance is the digital transformation of key, strategically important industries, such as the agro-industrial complex (AIC) of the Russian Federation. At the moment, this sector is faced with a significant number of systemic threats and challenges, primarily of a technological nature. These challenges are manifested, in particular, in the context of sanctions restrictions on the import of critical equipment and advanced software solutions, as well as in the urgent need for independent formation of a sustainable technological advantage for agricultural enterprises operating in the conditions of fierce global competition. At the same time, a fairly bright and encouraging trend of recent years is the active formation of our own, national approach to the preparation and comprehensive implementation of decisions on technological development and import substitution in the agro-industrial sector. In this regard, it seems particularly relevant to conduct a comprehensive study of modern trends and features of state regulation of digitalization processes in the agro-industrial complex - a sector that is of critical, strategic importance for ensuring food security and sustainability of the modern Russian economy. The presented article provides a detailed analysis of current legislation, federal and regional target programs aimed at creating the necessary organizational, financial and infrastructural conditions for the large-scale implementation of modern information, communication and innovative technologies in the agro-industrial complex of the Russian Federation.
