Abstract

The article examines the current trends in the development of the BRICS countries, which has significant economic advantages due to the presence of powerful labor potential, natural and capital resources. Based on the analysis, conclusions are drawn about the uneven development of the bloc's leading countries, which is due to the existence of imbalances in the dynamics of the macroeconomic indicators under consideration. Emphasized that China is the undisputed dominant country in the bloc, while other states demonstrate different rates of change in development trends, which indicates some instability and flexibility of this trans-regional integration association. Revealed that China is a reliable trading partner for many countries and the main exporter in the world, which strengthens its current position in the international arena and creates advantages over other partner countries. Proved that BRICS is actively expanding, controlling significant amounts of resources, forming partnerships, spheres of influence, and this turns it into a powerful geopolitical center. As a result of an analytical review of the member states of the association, it was revealed that today BRICS is a useful platform for consultations and cooperation on modern issues of both global and regional importance, as well as issues of global political and economic governance. Substantiated the role of transregionalism as a modern format of integration cooperation between countries. It has been established that today the BRICS group represents a unique format of trans-regional cooperation, uniting the largest economies of developing countries. The prospects of the BRICS countries for creating an alternative center of influence through a focus on the geopolitical and economic reorientation of the world are considered. Found that the countries of this group have the necessary financial, technical, human and natural resources, which creates the basis for their growth over a long period of time. Substantiated the future growth of the BRICS countries in global GDP as the basis for strengthening the position of BRICS transregional cooperation, creating the prerequisites for the influence of BRICS as an alternative global center of influence.
