The Role of Quality E-Learning Services in Enhancing Student Satisfaction in Technical Education The Higher Institute of Science and Technology, Tripoli: A Case Study
Abstract
This study aimed to investigate the role of Electronic Educational Services (EES) in enhancing student satisfaction at the Higher Institute of Science and Technology in Tripoli, Libya. It examined the relationship between the four dimensions of electronic educational services (ease of use, speed of service delivery, electronic service quality, and effectiveness of electronic administrative communication) and student satisfaction as a key indicator for evaluating institutional performance. The study adopted a descriptive-analytical approach. A questionnaire was used as the primary tool for data collection, distributed to 100 students, from which 91 valid responses were retrieved (91% response rate). The data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), employing descriptive statistics and Pearson's correlation coefficient. The findings revealed a statistically significant positive relationship between electronic educational services and student satisfaction (r = 0.683, Sig. = 0.000). All individual dimensions demonstrated statistically significant positive correlations with student satisfaction. Effectiveness of electronic administrative communication ranked first (r = 0.767), followed by electronic service quality (r = 0.548), speed of service delivery (r = 0.487), and ease of use (r = 0.419). The study concluded that advancing electronic educational services plays a crucial role in enhancing student satisfaction, recommending the continuous development of administrative digital channels and system quality.
