Arte na Pedagogia: desafios e perspectivas para a formação docente

Abstract

Introduction. The article focuses on the implementation of the Arts curricular component in Pedagogy programs in Brazil, presenting a national overview and proposing practical suggestions for faculty members and program coordinators in Teacher Education. Methodology. It presents a literature review based on the results of three studies conducted by the Research Group Art in Pedagogy (GPAP): a documentary analysis of Pedagogy course projects available on the e-MEC platform, a questionnaire administered to Arts instructors, and a bibliographic survey of related academic papers. Results. The article systematizes the collected data and discussions, identifying the main gaps in the field. Discussion. It addresses some of these gaps and proposes ways to enhance the artistic education of future teachers by engaging with digital culture.
