Pendidikan Islam Anak Usia Dini Berbasis Kearifan Lokal: Penguatan Peran Keluarga Dan Masyarakat Di Desa Karangan Kota Prabumulih
Abstract
Islamic education in early childhood is an important stage in developing children's character, morality, and religious habits. Such education does not only take place in formal educational institutions but also within the family and community environment. In rural communities, local wisdom can serve as a learning resource that is closely related to children's daily lives, making Islamic values easier to understand and practice. This article aims to describe the implementation of local wisdom-based Islamic education for early childhood and to analyze the role of families and communities in supporting the development of Islamic character among children in Karangan Village, Prabumulih City. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach through observation, interviews, documentation, and direct participation in Community Service Program (KKN) activities. The results indicate that Islamic education for early childhood can be strengthened through religious habituation within the family, parental role modeling, Qur'anic learning activities, politeness, mutual cooperation, and community participation in social and religious activities.
