Abstract
This contribution provides an overview of the special issue of EJPLT, which gathers a selection of the best papers presented at the Workshop AI for Access to Justice, Dispute Resolution, and Data Access (AI4A2J@JURIX2025), focusing on the transformative role of artificial intelligence in the field of access to justice. It is argued, in fact, that AI is no longer conceived exclusively as a supporting tool available to justice systems, but rather as an environment in which legal meaning is progressively produced, interpreted, made accessible, and applied.
