Abstract

Smart home gadgets have interconnected to improve convenience, productivity, and safety as smart home technology has evolved rapidly. Many smart home systems lack adaptability due to rule-based automation and limited interface possibilities. This study analyzes how deep learning models can automate context-based activities and provide voice control in smart home appliances. The solution employs deep neural networks for voice recognition, NLP, and behavioral pattern learning for intuitive human-device interaction and adaptive decision-making. Context-aware automation and voice-controlled appliances can optimize device performance by inferring user preferences, environmental factors, and activity patterns. Research on hybrid edge-cloud AI focuses on real-time processing, privacy, and energy efficiency. Cloud-based learning helps with model training and long-term optimization, while edge-based inference gives low-latency solutions and data privacy. The trials found significant improvements in interface consistency, automation dependability, energy efficiency, and user enjoyment compared to typical smart home systems. The findings show that deep learning-powered smart homes can become personalized and flexible. This study presents a smart and scalable foundation for the future generation of smart homes, including AI-powered device management, a smooth interface, proactive automation, and increased quality of life.
