It provides a brief overview of the essence of the phenomenon of time and considers the significance of the concept of “time” within the linguistic systems of both languages. The concept of time is universal and is reflected in the linguistic worldviews of all languages. At the same time, its verbal representation may vary depending on the cultural, historical, and linguistic characteristics of a particular speech community.
