Abstract

Introduction. Modern professional education needs a technology that can seamlessly combine face-to-face and distance learning formats, based on the principles of cognitive information processing. Goal. The study aims to develop and substantiate a set of pedagogical methods for managing hybrid learning in digital environment based on the principle of didactic synergy of formats. Materials and methods. A sociological survey of students from Russian universities (n=685), divided into groups of technical (n = 232) and humanities (n = 313) students. A mixed methodological approach included a quantitative assessment of cognitive load based on the adapted NASA-TLX methodology and statistical analysis of differences between groups using the Mann-Whitney U test and the Spearman correlation coefficient. Results and discussion Empirical data are integrated into the pedagogical technology of hybrid learning management and a set of organizational and pedagogical conditions for its effective implementation, controlled by digitalization, formed by a strict sequence of components: methodological basis ^ course design ^ LMS platform ^ analytical monitoring ^ educational result, connected by top-down and bottom-up feedback loops. For the first time, the phenomenon of profile inversion is described and terminologically fixed. There were statistically significant differences in the assessment of the importance of face-to-face classes between students of technical and humanities courses (M = 3.74 and 3.41, respectively, p < 0.01). Also, a strong correlation between the level of mental load and academic performance (r = 0.61) was found. Conclusion. Increasing the effectiveness of hybrid learning in vocational education is achieved not through the expansion of digital infrastructure, but through pedagogically guided digitalization, in which didactic goal-setting takes precedence over the choice of technological means. The profile differentiation of pedagogical design, taking into account the phenomenon of profile inversion, reliance on the pedagogical technology of hybrid learning management and a closed management loop with feedback links ensure the alignment of the digital environment with the methodology of professional training and lay the foundation for the differentiated design of hybrid educational technologies.
