Herramientas Digitales en la Construcción de Aprendizajes Significativos en las Ciencias Sociales
Abstract
Digital tools are technological resources that play an important role in education; particularly in higher education, they stand out as strategies that enable students and faculty to enhance academic performance. The purpose of this article is to analyze how the use of digital tools significantly shapes learning processes among second-year students in the Social Sciences program at UNAN-Managua / CUR-Estelí. This study identifies the digital tools most frequently used by students. A qualitative approach was adopted, employing an interpretive paradigm and an educational action-research design. Data collection techniques such as interviews and focus groups were used; the information was coded for analysis, categories were selected, and the data obtained were triangulated. The results revealed that students use a variety of tools for content creation, information retrieval, educational management, artificial intelligence, and communication; furthermore, it was found that their use is influenced by factors that hinder the proper utilization of these technological resources. In conclusion, digital tools constitute a fundamental resource for didactic and pedagogical approaches that foster interaction, motivation, and dynamism in learning processes.
