Abstract

The Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) plays an important role in healthcare by improving the dependability, precision, and efficiency of healthcare devices. IoMT has several healthcare applications, and its revolution is transforming modern medical care with fascinating technological, social, and economic ramifications. A range of technologies can reduce overall costs connected with the treatment and control of serious diseases. Wearable and mobile apps currently assist health education, fitness programs, diagnosis monitoring, and integrated illness prevention. This paper focuses on the IoMT framework for healthcare, IoMT architecture, technologies, security advancements, and challenges that have been faced in the field. Substantial advancements in terms of tools and technology along with security protection are being achieved, amplified by the rapid implementation of IoMT for smart healthcare around the world.
