IoT-Based Submersible System for Real-Time Water Quality Monitoring and Pollution Detection
Abstract
The emissions of carbon and industrial discharge, overflow of fertilizers and nautical wastes have become common conservational problems in the world. The conventional water-quality analysis is based on manual sampling and laboratory analysis which are time consuming and lack real-time analysis. The IoT-based underwater-quality monitoring system as a submersible system presented in this paper will be used to measure the required parameters, such as pH, turbidity, dissolved oxygen, temperature, and conductivity with the assistance of the underwater-evaluation sensors, a Node MCU, and the long-range wireless communication (LoRa/Wi-Fi/GSM) to buy the information in the cloud. The proposed system will be able to provide real time visualization, threshold-setting alert of infections, and strong functions with a waterproof enclosed space, which can be placed beneath water ecosystems. The experiment findings indicate that there are high accuracy, dependable data transmission as well as low-power consumption, which can be advantageous compared to the traditional examining processes. The system can be replicated for installation in rivers, lakes, ponds, and coastal areas to support environmental initiatives.
