Agile represents a set of values and a project management culture. The core idea is rapid and flexible adaptation to change in close collaboration with the client. Thе paper examines the potential of using Agile and its associated methodology EduScrum to organize the educational process within the context of practice-oriented learning in a flexible ecosystem of interaction between providers and consumers of educational services and the development of projects aimed at solving real-world professional problems in a technologically intensive environment. The paper describes the experience of using Agile and EduScrum principles at the LIS Department of the St. Petersburg State University of Culture. It also explores the potential of using Agile outside the classroom, including for the Department and University management, and for conducting public and professional accreditation of the educational program in the field of LIS.
