Abstract

Semantic field of names connected with working of wood and producing wooden items in Old Russian of the 14th-18th centuries from the perspective of their lexical semantics and etymology. Factors which influence the process of formation and development of semantic field are presented. The research is carried through semantic field method and through complex analysis.
