Abstract

The increasing power density and operational coupling in integrated light-storage-charging (LSC) systems pose critical challenges to thermal safety and energy efficiency. This study develops an integrated liquid-cooled cold plate structure and an electro-thermal coordinated operation model to address these challenges. A three-dimensional conjugate heat transfer model and a coupled electro-thermal state-space model are established for heat transfer characterization and system coordination. Numerical simulations under a 24-hour summer operating scenario indicate that the proposed strategy reduces the peak junction temperature of power modules from 91.6 °C to 73.4 °C, lowers the maximum battery core temperature by 7.6 °C, improves peak-load conversion efficiency to 98.4%, and cuts daily cooling energy consumption by 45.1%, while maintaining DC bus voltage deviation within ±1.9%. The results confirm that electrothermal coordination combined with integrated structural thermal design provides an effective pathway for enhancing reliability and efficiency in next-generation LSC systems.
