AI-Enabled Health FinTech Platforms for Personalized Healthcare Financing, Financial Inclusion, and Sustainable Digital Health Ecosystems
Abstract
Digital transformation is reshaping healthcare financing as artificial intelligence, financial technology, and digital health increasingly converge to address persistent challenges involving affordability, access, efficiency, and financial exclusion. This study examines AI-enabled Health FinTech platforms as integrated systems for improving personalized healthcare financing while supporting inclusive and sustainable digital health ecosystems. It explores how machine learning, predictive analytics, automated risk assessment, and intelligent payment technologies can use financial and healthcare data to tailor payment plans, insurance products, credit options, and financial assistance to individual circumstances. Particular attention is given to underserved populations whose limited income, inadequate insurance coverage, or restricted access to conventional financial services can delay essential healthcare. The study further evaluates the contribution of AI-enabled platforms to fraud detection, claims optimization, administrative efficiency, resource allocation, and financial decision-making across healthcare systems. It also considers data privacy, algorithmic bias, cybersecurity, interoperability, regulatory compliance, and unequal digital access as critical implementation challenges. Responsible integration of AI and Health FinTech can strengthen financial inclusion, improve patient-centered financing, enhance institutional efficiency, and promote resilient, accessible, sustainable digital health ecosystems.
