Abstract
Purpose: This study aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of adult perspectives on COVID-19 vaccination by examining the relationship between vaccine literacy and attitudes toward COVID-19 vaccination. In this context, the study sought to assess the level of vaccine literacy among adults, identify prevailing attitudes toward COVID-19 vaccination, and analyze how literacy levels influence vaccination attitudes within the adult population. Data were obtained through face-to-face interviews using the Personal Information Form, the COVID-19 Vaccine Literacy Scale, and the COVID-19 Vaccination Attitude Scale. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple linear regression were performed. Results: Of the participants, 66.8% were female, and 46.1% had university-level education or higher. A total of 88.1% had been vaccinated, and 40.9% had received three or more doses. The mean vaccine literacy score was 2.60±0.59, and the mean score for positive vaccination attitude was 3.57±1.15. A weak but statistically significant positive correlation was found between vaccine literacy and attitude towards vaccination (r=0.179, p
