Modeling decoherence in photonic quantum teleportation using noise channels
Abstract
We propose a teleportation protocol for the faithful transfer of an arbitrary single-qubit state in noisy environment among three spatially separated parties using a 3-qubit GHZ state as the quantum channel. The performance of the protocol is systematically analyzed under the influence of various noise channels using the IBM Qiskit SDK. Noise is introduced into the quantum circuit as probabilistic p, Krauss operator. Teleportation fidelity is analysed as a function of noise strength. We propose protocol using photonic qubits for experimental realization. The scheme relies on parametric down-conversion processes for the generation of multi-qubit entangled states. Finally, we discuss how experimentally relevant imperfections and detection events can be mapped onto the theoretical noise models considered in the simulations.
