Pemanfaatan Artificial Intelligence dalam Meningkatkan Literasi Anak Usia Dini di Era Digital
Abstract
This community service activity aims to address the low digital literacy competence and the technical difficulties faced by early childhood educators in producing interactive learning media, particularly at TK 'Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Koya Timur, Jayapura. Grounded in the challenges of conventional video editing software and administrative burdens, the program implemented a Participatory Action Research (PAR) method structured into problem identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation phases. The training involved 19 participants, consisting of kindergarten teachers, lecturers, and university students, focusing on the practical integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools such as ChatGPT and Google Flow. The results demonstrate that participants successfully mastered digital ethics, visual criteria for early childhood based on IDAI standards, and precision prompting techniques using the "ASIH" formula. Furthermore, teachers successfully produced independent, child-friendly animated video learning media. The technical barriers, such as network instability and platform quotas, were effectively resolved through mobile hotspots and alternative account management. In conclusion, this Artificial Intelligence training significantly enhances teachers' practical digital skills and provides an innovative, sustainable solution to strengthen early childhood literacy in the digital age, while reinforcing that technology serves as a support tool alongside the primary role of educators' mindful presence and empathy.
