Pelatihan Pengembangan Video Pembelajaran Berbantuan Artificial Intelligence untuk Meningkatkan Kompetensi Guru Sekolah Dasar
Abstract
The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) provides opportunities for teachers to develop learning media more efficiently and innovatively; however, its use in elementary schools remains constrained by limited competence in integrating AI into teaching practice. This Community Service (PKM) activity aimed to improve the competence of teachers at SDN Pamulang Timur 01 in developing AI-assisted instructional videos. The activity employed a participatory approach involving 15 teachers and education personnel through workshops, AI demonstrations, hands-on practice, instructional video development, and evaluation. The effectiveness was measured using a one-group pretest-posttest design, supported by observation and product assessment. The results showed that participants' average score increased from 51.00 in the pretest to 79.67 in the posttest, with a 56.21% increase and an N-Gain value of 0.59, categorized as moderate. This improvement indicates that practice-based training strengthened participants' understanding and skills in composing prompts, generating AI-based illustrations, using text-to-speech, and integrating these components into instructional videos. The findings highlight that teachers' AI competence development is more meaningful when technology is learned through contextual pedagogical tasks producing tangible products. A training model based on workshops, demonstrations, and hands-on practice has potential as an alternative approach for developing digital competence among elementary school teachers.
