USING RECURSIVE TECHNOLOGY IN STUDYING FUNDAMENTAL DISCIPLINES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY
Abstract
The need for continuous improvement in engineering education requires a variety of pedagogical technologies. One of the most effective techniques is recursive technology, which is a dynamic process that uses constant repetition of previously received information to improve the perception and memory of the material being studied. In trying to solve the newly assigned task, students intensify their memory and select options from previously studied topics for proper implementation of practical work. Using this approach allows long-term retention of the amount of information received at a high level of quality. Today, recursive technologies imply the unification of disjointed parts, deep interpenetration, and the merging in the educational process of different technologies. The article is devoted to testing the effectiveness of recursive technologies in the study of fundamental disciplines, including those of the mathematical cycle. The construction of a recurrent system of education is considered and an assessment of its level of development is given at the Department of Higher Mathematics of Kazan National Research Technological University. The main recurrent connections of the divisions of higher mathematics between themselves and other disciplines are analyzed. Thus, the apparatus of mathematical analysis is widely applied in other areas of higher mathematics such as differential equations, complex variable function theory, probability theory and mathematical statistics. This apparatus also finds application in other disciplines such as physics, physical chemistry, theoretical mechanics and many others.
