Fairness optimization for free-space optical satellite communications with multirate links
Abstract
This paper proposes a fairness-oriented optimization method for free-space optical (FSO) inter-satellites laser communications based on non-orthogonal multiple access signals. The approach aims to maximize the satellite network data rate while ensuring fairness across satellite links. By considering varying distances, signal to noise ratio (SNR) and data rate requirement, the proposed method could enhance onboard resource load distribution and user fairness. The proposed method improves satellite network efficiency and fairness, offering a practical solution for dynamic, large-scale optical satellite constellations.
