Abstract

This study examines the impact of e-learning platforms on skills development and employee engagement in a corporate setting. In response to the increasing adoption of digital learning systems in organizations, the research aims to evaluate how platform effectiveness influences employees’ competencies and level of engagement. Specifically, the study focuses on key dimensions of e-learning platform effectiveness, including accessibility, interactivity, and usability, and how these factors relate to the development of essential workplace skills such as communication, collaboration, and critical thinking. The study also explores employee engagement as a multidimensional construct, encompassing behavioral, emotional, and cognitive aspects within e-learning environments. Anchored in Self-Determination Theory, supported by Adult Learning Theory and the Technology Acceptance Model, the research provides a theoretical basis for understanding how motivation, usability, and learner autonomy influence engagement and learning outcomes. A descriptive-correlational research design is employed to describe the current conditions of e-learning use and to examine relationships among variables without manipulation. Data are gathered from corporate employees with experience in e-learning platforms using a structured survey questionnaire. Statistical tools such as descriptive measures, correlation, and regression analysis are utilized to analyze the relationships between platform effectiveness, skills development, and engagement.
