Abstract
Sexual violence is an issue that requires attention through legal, educational, social, and victim protection approaches. The enactment of Law Number 12 of 2022 on Sexual Violence Crimes (UU TPKS) serves as an important foundation in efforts to prevent and address sexual violence in Indonesia. However, the presence of regulations needs to be balanced with public understanding so that legal provisions and protection measures can be applied in daily life. Community service activities through KKN Group 26278 are carried out as an effort to increase knowledge and awareness about preventing sexual violence. The methods used include education and outreach, with materials delivered according to the characteristics of three target groups: elementary school students, students or teens, and housewives. The materials cover the introduction to forms of sexual violence, personal boundaries and private space, self-protection efforts, as well as mechanisms and the parties who Can be contacted whenever a case of sexual violence occurs or is discovered. The activity results showed that participants' understanding of the forms of sexual violence, the importance of setting personal boundaries, and the courage to seek help in risky situations improved. This activity shows that education tailored to the age and characteristics of the target audience can be a strategic step in raising public awareness about preventing sexual violence.
