Abstract

With the vigorous development of China’s economy, the energy and transportation industries have experienced rapid growth. More and more petroleum and petrochemical pipelines and urban rail transit have been built and put into use, and the corrosion risk caused by subways to pipelines has become more serious. The corrosion problem of pipelines in complex urban subway interference environments has problems such as unclear corrosion patterns, difficulty in identifying inflow and outflow locations, poor applicability of evaluation criteria, and poor drainage effects. This article introduces the research status and progress of dynamic DC stray current interference in petroleum and petrochemical pipelines from the aspects of on-site detection, evaluation standards, and protective measures of subway dynamic DC stray current interference. It also looks forward to the future research directions of dynamic DC stray current interference. It is recommended to comprehensively utilize numerical simulation, machine learning, Fourier transform and other technologies on the basis of traditional material testing characterization and cathodic protection testing methods to comprehensively consider the current problems of dynamic DC interference and assist in the safe operation of petroleum and petrochemical pipelines.
