Analisis Implementasi Pendidikan Agama Kristen dalam Menghadapi Kemerosotan Spiritual Gereja-Gereja Reformasi di Indonesia Jemaat Batu Karang Sentagi di Era Digital
Abstract
The implementation of Christian Religious Education (CRE) is viewed as a crucial effort to address the spiritual decline of the congregation in the digital era. This spiritual decline is evident in diminished spiritual discipline, a lack of interest in reading the Bible, reduced participation in worship and fellowship, and a weakening of the congregation's life of faith. Christian Religious Education is understood not merely as a process of imparting Christian teachings, but also as a means of nurturing faith and shaping character based on the Word of God. This study employs a qualitative method using a literature review approach. The findings indicate that the implementation of Christian Religious Education must be carried out continuously through the teaching of God's Word, discipleship, character building, the strengthening of spiritual discipline, and the use of digital media as a tool for congregational nurture. The results also highlight the essential roles of the church, the family, and the congregation in supporting spiritual growth. Therefore, the implementation of Christian Religious Education is expected to assist the Batu Karang Sentagi Congregation of the Reformed Churches in Indonesia in facing the challenges of the digital era and growing in faith.
