LLMs for Literature Reviews and Theory Mapping

Abstract

Designed for PhD students, academics, and researchers, this workshop teaches how to integrate large language models with knowledge graphs (KG) to automate systematic literature reviews, extract and link entities and relations, and map theoretical constructs into reproducible, explainable, and visually interpretable representations. Using hands-on Python Jupyter notebooks, participants will build end-to-end pipelines for harvesting, screening, KG construction, semantic search and visualization, while learning evaluation, provenance, human-in-the-loop strategies and ethical practices to reduce hallucination and produce research-ready outputs.
