Innovative Strategies in Inclusive Education Management: Advancing Transformation, Collaboration, and Sustainability in Educational Institutions

Abstract

Inclusive education requires a transformation in educational institution management that extends beyond access to quality, equity, and long-term sustainability. However, implementation remains constrained by limited innovative strategies and weak stakeholder collaboration. This study investigates innovative management practices in inclusive educational institutions and explores the role of collaboration in promoting change and sustainability. The study adopts a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation and document analysis. Data analysis was performed using an interactive data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing model, and triangulation across sources, methods and time was used to ensure data validity. Findings suggest that innovative strategies included transformational leadership, development of flexible and differentiated curricula and integration of assistive technologies in learning processes. Furthermore, the effective adoption of inclusive practices is based on internal collaboration between educators and administrators as well as on external collaborations with parents, communities, and professional services. These integrated strategies promote a responsive and adaptive ecosystem of inclusive education. The research underscores that the successful management of inclusive education does not depend solely on internal innovation, but also on sustained relational and collaborative capacity. The findings add to an ecosystem-based perspective of inclusive education management and provide practical implications for institutional leaders. Such integrative strategies can support resilient, sustainable, and just education systems in the long term.
