RESIMAFRO System Design and Development: Integrating Result-Based Management into Organizational Information Systems for Human Service Organization
Abstract
This study aims to develop a technology design for the RESIMAFRO (Result-Based Management in Organizational Information Systems) reporting system at Yayasan Amal Produktif Indonesia, Bandung City, West Java, Indonesia as an effort to transform the reporting system from an administrative orientation toward integrated results-based reporting. The study employed Participatory Action Research (PAR) with a qualitative approach, guided by the Kemmis and McTaggart cycle, encompassing five stages: reflection, needs formulation, design, implementation, and design evaluation. The findings demonstrate that the RESIMAFRO system effectively supports program reporting processes to become more structured, measurable, and oriented toward the achievement of program outputs, outcomes, and impacts. The final system design integrates RESIMAFRO with the SIAP (Sistem Informasi Amal Produktif) Dashboard, enabling program monitoring, report validation, and organizational decision-making to be conducted more rapidly, accurately, and on a data-driven basis. This study reinforces Result-Based Management (RBM) theory, Open Systems Theory, and Human Service Organization Management (HSOM) within the context of social technology development in human service organization.
