Abstract

The article is dedicated to the research of the concept of a digital twin for warehouse accounting as an IT service that ensures the transition from manual accounting to systematic digital automation of management processes at an industrial enterprise. The theoretical foundations of digital twins, their architectural components, advantages of application in logistics and inventory management, as well as the main implementation challenges are examined. Based on the analysis of modern literature and practical implementation, conclusions are drawn about the impact of digital models on the efficiency of warehouse inventory management, and methodological recommendations for implementing the technology are proposed. The research results show that the application of a digital twin allows reducing the processing time of warehouse operations by 60-70%, increasing the accuracy of inventory accounting to 98-99%, and optimizing the level of inventory by 15-20%.
