Pengaruh Komunikasi Efektif Guru terhadap Motivasi Belajar Siswa SDIT Cendekia Satria dalam Pembelajaran Informatika
Abstract
Effective teacher communication is an important factor in improving students' learning motivation. This study aimed to examine the effect of effective teacher communication on students' learning motivation in Informatics learning at SDIT Cendekia Satria. A quantitative approach with a descriptive research design was employed, involving 30 sixth-grade students selected using saturated sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire that met the validity and reliability requirements, with Cronbach's Alpha values of 0.912 for effective teacher communication and 0.936 for learning motivation. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression, the t-test, and the coefficient of determination (R²). The results indicated that effective teacher communication had a positive and significant effect on students' learning motivation (β = 0.875, t = 9.546, p < 0.001). The regression model explained 76.5% of the variance in students' learning motivation (R² = 0.765), while the remaining 23.5% was explained by other factors outside the research model. These findings indicate that effective teacher communication, particularly through clear messages, openness, honesty, empathy, and attention to students, is associated with higher learning motivation. Therefore, strengthening teachers' communication competence is important for creating more interactive learning and supporting students' motivation in Informatics learning.
