DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF THE ENTERPRISE ECONOMIC SECURITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IN THE CONTEXT OF EUROPEAN INTEGRATION AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
Abstract
The article examines the theoretical and applied aspects of the digital transformation of the enterprise economic security management system in the context of European integration and the implementation of sustainable development principles. It is substantiated that digitalization is transforming enterprise management approaches by reshaping economic security mechanisms, business process organization, and managerial decision-making systems. The study establishes that the adoption of advanced digital technologies, including artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, the Internet of Things, robotic process automation, and digital platforms, creates new opportunities to enhance management efficiency while simultaneously generating new risks and threats. The impact of digital transformation on the activities of Ukrainian enterprises is analyzed. The findings demonstrate that digitalization improves business process transparency, enhances management efficiency, strengthens predictive analytics, and increases the competitiveness of enterprises within the European economic area. At the same time, digital transformation intensifies cybersecurity, information, organizational, human resource, legal, and financial risks, highlighting the need to improve enterprise economic security management systems. The study systematizes the key challenges associated with digital transformation and proposes an author's approach to identifying the priority directions for the digital transformation of enterprise economic security management systems. These include the digitalization of management processes, the implementation of intelligent decision support systems, business process automation, cybersecurity enhancement, digital asset management, cloud technology adoption, logistics digitalization, and the integration of ESG principles into economic security management. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the development of a comprehensive model for the digital transformation of the enterprise economic security management system. The proposed model integrates environmental factors, strategic objectives, digital transformation components, economic security management processes, resource support, transformation outcomes, and a continuous improvement mechanism. The practical significance of the research lies in the applicability of the proposed approaches to developing digital transformation strategies, improving corporate digital development policies, strengthening risk management, and facilitating enterprise adaptation to the requirements of the European economic environment.
