Digitale Präsidentschaftskommunikation
Abstract
This book offers readers an empirically grounded view of a new form of presidential platform communication. It examines how Donald Trump used Truth Social for political communication during his first year as the 47th President of the United States. Based on 3,411 publicly accessible posts, the study combines RoBERTa sentiment analysis, NMF topic modeling, and Entman’s framing theory. It identifies patterns of affective evaluation, recurring thematic frames, and their temporal dynamics in relation to political events. The book is aimed at researchers, students, and practitioners in political communication, digital platforms, and social media analysis.
